LA Food Hotspots

FEBRUARY 12, 2024

Now that I am spending more time in LA, I have found some food hot spots that are perfect for a night out or a casual dinner vibe. Here are my recommendations:

1. The Georgian Room - THERE'S A HIDDEN GEM DOWNSTAIRS - it’s better than the polo bar. It’s better than the movies. It’s so iconic that they cover your phone so you can’t take pictures. I feel like Marilyn Monroe would have had dinner here every day.

What’s the vibe? Iconic steakhouse

Order: Octopus or cauliflower steak

What to wear? There’s a dress code so dress to impress.

2. Elephante - hot take? I didn’t like it lol.

What’s the vibe? Coastal chic

Order: there is a bread and hummus plate that people love

What to wear? Everyone had on a name brand t-shirt lol

3. Dudleys in Venice - seafood spot but was randomly on “Timeouts Best Burger” so we got the burger AND IT’S THE BEST BURGER.

What’s the vibe? Great for date night or girls night. The food is better than the vibes.

Order: the burger and anything on the menu that is seafood

What to wear? Anything goes - cute sundress or jeans and a tshirt.

4. The Magic Castle - everyone must go here once. You get dressed up and watch magic shows. It’s unbelievable and a perfect excuse to dress up and have a nice date night!

What’s the vibe? Magic shows with formal attire. I saw Bill Nye - truly an experience.

Order: wine lol… I drank dinner!

What to wear? Black tie!

5. Casablanca Mexican - you can wear sweatpants and they handmake tortillas in front of you. The food is authentic and it shows. The margs are great. The vibe is - live music.

What’s the vibe? Laid back Mexican vibes.

Order: Anything, but the burrito, homemade tortillas and fajitas are great!

What to wear? Sweats or dress up!
